Mascioli Design Inc. can manage all phases of the project for clients, or just those the client chooses, which can include

  • applying for permits from the City of Ottawa
  • tendering project to general contractors, and assisting client in reviewing bids
  • assisting clients in preparing contracts with trades
  • reviewing construction schedule
  • visiting sites during construction to ensure that work is performed according to drawings and specifications
  • assisting contractors with interpreting drawings
  • helping resolve unforeseen site conditions and related problems
  • producing deficiency lists, and reporting such to client and contractors
  • reviewing progress payments submitted by contractor to client
  • producing certificate of substantial completion to establish date for issuing holdback payments
  • meeting with outside consultants such as engineers, City of Ottawa officials and others
